- Takes (2) 6-volt, spring-top rechargeable lantern batteries.
- Steady red LED light indicates that power is connected to the charger.
- Steady green LED indicates that the charger is charging the batteries.
- Flashing/flickering green LED light indicates that the batteries are fully charged and the charger has entered into maintenance mode keeping the batteries fully charged and ready for use.
- Automatic charging feature prevents batteries from being overcharged. They can be left in the charger indefinitely until they are ready for use.
- Charge time to full charge: 8 hours
- New batteries should last 7 nights (of 12 hours each night) in a BGLED888 Barge Navigation Light.
- Over time, the batteries will show a reduction in capacity and duration.
- Replace the rechargeable batteries when they are no longer able to hold a sufficient charge.
